Our Story

We spent most of our lives thinking we were the problem.

One of us spent years as a tradie before getting diagnosed with ADHD...

By then we'd already racked up the full collection — abandoned projects, missed deadlines, careers started and dropped, the slow grind of feeling like everyone else got the manual and we didn't.

The other got diagnosed differently — because ADHD in women looks nothing like ADHD in men. It gets missed, mislabelled, or dismissed as anxiety for years before anyone joins the dots. A decade of being told you're "too sensitive" or "you just need to try harder." A decade of trying harder anyway, and still feeling broken.

Two diagnoses. Same realisation: it was never us.

The diagnoses didn't fix us. But they explained us. And once we understood what was actually happening — that our brains weren't lazy, weren't broken, weren't undisciplined — we started reading everything we could find.

Most of it was written by people who'd never lived inside an ADHD brain. Clinical. Cold. Or worse — productivity advice dressed up as understanding.

Scentra is the resource we wish we'd had.

Every book, toolkit, and guide we publish is written from the inside. By people who get it. For people who get it. And because ADHD shows up so differently between men and women, we make resources for both — not one-size-fits-all advice that fits nobody.

If your brain feels demanding, you're in the right place.
